Joist Hanger
55mm high joist hanger in galvanised steel, designed to connect MyDek 55x35mm galvanised steel joists to pre-existing steelwork.
It can also be used with an optional isolator for use with BR60 or BR90 MyDek Aluminium BoxRail.
This joist hanger can be used in either orientation for maximum flexibility with existing steelwork features.

INSTALLATION
- Mark out position on steelwork, ensuring the joist height is set to the right level
- Drill steel using a 10mm drill or reaming bit to align with the joist hanger holes
- Use appropriate galvanised bolts and washers to attach joist hanger to the steelwork. Blind bolts may be used if the rear of the existing steelwork is inaccessible, e.g. adjacent to the façade. Install a minimum of 4no bolts
- Install galvanised steel joists on top of the joist hanger base, using 2no provided Tek Screws to secure.
- If using aluminium BoxRail, insert a JN55 neoprene liner before installing the BoxRail.
